Event Details
The Rose, White and Blue 4th of July Parade in San Jose, California is a revival of the historic Rose Carnival of 1896. The parade winds through the Rose Garden neighborhood ending on the grand avenue of the The Alameda. This homespun parade features live bands, dance groups, home-made floats, kids on bikes, antique cars, and more. Following the parade attendees will enjoy an Arts & Music Festival with two stages of live music, carnival rides, arts and crafts, multicultural food, beer & wine garden and games. ART & CRAFTS VENDORS
Artists of all medias including jewelry, fashion and accessories, furniture, and home décor pieces, as well as functional and sculptural work in ceramics, glass, metal, painting, photography, wood and mixed media, and specialty foods from across the country. 2-4 product photos must be submitted to rwbparade@gmail.com for approval.
COMMERCIAL VENDORS

FOOD VENDORS
Looking for all-american and multicultural food vendors. If using you own booth 2 photos must be submitted to rwbparade@gmail.com for approval. Proper health and sales permits are required. A limted amount of food vendors will be accepted. Food booths will be limted to selling two major food items per vendor. No alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, or water may be sold in food booths.
To apply to operate a food booth for the Rose, White and Blue 4th of July Festival please fill out the attached application and attach a valid Health Permit (Environmental Health Permit) for your kitchen facility.

If you are not an Annual Temporary Event Permit Holder in Santa Clara County, the County of Santa Clara Fees are as follows:
For Profit Booth: $183.00
Non-Profit Booth: $ 67.00
For Profit Cart: $ 63.00
Non-Profit Cart: $ 56.00
Santa Clara Department of Environmental Health Application
Each vendor must apply to operate a food booth for the Rose, White and Blue 4th of July Festival and fill out an application and attach a valid Health Permit (Environmental Health Permit) for each kitchen facility.
Each application must be submitted by Thursday, June 17. The Event Coordinator application will be submitted on Friday, June 18. Those applicaiton which are not in the hands fo the event coordinator on Thursday, June 18th will be eligible to participate in the Festival. The Application can be obtained by calling Lawrence Clark @ 408.436.8581 and may be faxed back to the Alameda Business Association @ 408.436.8583. Fees paid above should include the applicable County Fees plus the appropriate booth/cart fees.
Participant Regulations:
- This is an outdoor event and will take place rain or shine.
The appropriate booth fee must be paid in full to reserve booth space. Spaces will be assigned, first-come, first-served upon receipt of application and fees. Fees are due by June 1, 2010.
All items to be sold MUST be appropriate for a family, children, and community-themed event. The festival committee members reserve the right to ask that inappropriate items be removed.
All booth applications are subject to the approval of festival management. If booth is not accepted 100% of monies will be returned on or before June 15, 2010.
Exhibitors may provide their own custom canopy or set-up ONLY with permission from the festival management. There are no discounts to the fees for providing a custom canopy. Photos should be send to festival@rwbparade.org
Set-up will start at 6:00 a.m. with Rose, White and Blue Festival open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Clean-up will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. Booths may NOT be taken down prior to 5:00 p.m. Vehicles will not be allowed to enter for load-out until City of San Jose officials deem the area clear of pedestrians.
City regulations require that all vehicles (except display vehicles) must be removed from the event area from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Please make sure display items do not interfere with the flow of traffic.
Sellers must follow all local and state laws including State Board of Equalization rules regarding resale numbers. If applicable, resale numbers must be supplied with application. If you need help acquiring a temporary resale number please visit www.boe.ca.gov. A copy of your temporary seller’s permit or resale license must be on display on the day of the event.
